This page contains useful Information on how to get to the Conference venue
________________________________________________________
The HHH2023 Conference takes place at the following address:
Getting to Reims from Paris
In the likely event that you are coming to Reims from Paris, we advise you to come on the high-speed “TGV” trains that leave from “Gare Paris Est” in the centre of Paris. This train service is reliable, comfortable and takes only 45 minutes to get to Reims City Centre. Bookings can be made on-line on the SNCF website at the following address: https://www.sncf.com/en.
Getting to the Université de Reims from Reims City Centre
A particularly convenient way to get to the University from the Reims City Centre train station is to take the Tramway “B” heading in the direction either of “Hopital Debré” or “Gare Champagne-Ardenne”. Not only will the journey through the Centre of town offer glimpses of Reims Cathedrale, The Opera House and Place d’Erlon, but it also takes you to “Campus Croix-Rouge”, which is the name of the stop at which you must alight to get to the Conference venue.
Getting to the Conference venue (“Bâtiment Recherche”) at Campus Croix-Rouge from the Tram stop
When alighting at the Campus Croix-Rouge turn to your right and keep an eye out for the enormous Shell Shaped structures that will become visible on your left. By approaching them you will see the main entrance to the Campus. Upon entering, you can pass under Shell-Shaped structures (a.k.a, “Coquilles”) and straight ahead of you, you will see a paved laneway that winds down a wooded slope. At the bottom of this lane, you will come to a “T junction”. Once there, turn right and continue until you come to a small flight of stairs on your left. When you descend these stairs you will see a courtyard in front of you. At the far end of this courtyard you will find the entrance to the “Bâtiment Recherche – École doctorale”. By entering you will be greeted by someone from the Conference Welcome Team.
The red arrows on the following map will give you a graphic illustration of the above information.
